mural

I was asked to paint a mural at my church this summer. It was needed in the nursery, to brighten it up. It has been several years now since I had used the brush, after learning how to use the mouse to paint with on the computer, ie. all the Jesus pictures that you see on my website, and puppy pics have been done with the mouse and my imagination. So it sounded like a challenge to me, and something I would like to do, but the next question was, what would I paint...? first I thought of doing Noah's Ark...but as time went on...it started coming together in my head....the Lord had prompted me the year before to help out with AWANA's (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) it is a Christian club, as some of you may know, where the young people meet once a week, play games, fellowship and learn scripture...all kinds of fun things they do, to get points, compete, and learn more about Jesus. Also being a photography enthusiast, I found myself taking pictures of the kids, at the different games and church gatherings...and found myself wondering what am I going to do with all these pictures??...Well....the Lord put that together for me as He helped me with painting the mural...and each face you see in the mural is of some child and a few adults that attend our church...
